\u201cSuture\u201d : n.f. Couture pratiqu\u00e9e dans la chair pour ressouder deux parties d\u00e9chir\u00e9es, ou bien pour refermer une plaie.\u00a0<\/em>
\nCe leporello ing\u00e9nument nomm\u00e9 \u201cSUTURE\u201d est \u00e0 l\u2019image de cette \u00e9trange trace form\u00e9e sur la peau par le passage du fil et de l\u2019aiguille, il se d\u00e9plie en un zig zag hasardeux, formant ainsi des creux et des bosses, laissant une fois sur deux appara\u00eetre le lien avant de replonger dans la masse. La papier comme peau, les images comme fil, SUTURE est comme une cicatrice dont chaque carte\/panneau est un point. <\/em>
\nSur la corde raide, chaque dessin est comme un n\u0153ud, \u00e0 la fois excroissance et garde-corps.<\/em><\/p>\n

SUTURE est une petite \u00e9dition \u201chors-piste\u201d qui rassemble une s\u00e9lection de 10 cartes postales sous la forme d\u2019un leporello. Les cartes sont des reproductions (en couleur, ou en noir et blanc) de quelques uns de mes dessins.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuture\u201d: n. A stitch made in the flesh to join two torn parts together or to close a wound.
\nThis leporello, innocently titled \u201cSUTURE,\u201d mirrors the strange mark left on the skin by the passage of thread and needle; it unfolds in a haphazard zigzag, creating dips and bumps, revealing the thread every other time before diving back into the mass. With paper as skin and images as thread, SUTURE is like a scar in which each card or panel is a stitch.
\nOn a tightrope, each drawing is like a knot\u2014both an outgrowth and a guardrail.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

SUTURE is a small \u201coff-the-beaten-path\u201d edition that brings together a selection of 10 postcards in the form of a leporello. The cards are reproductions (in color or black and white) of some of my drawings.<\/span><\/p>\n
